About the practices
Roe Lane Surgery is a small GP practice in Churchtown, Southport and before merging with Christiana Hartley we served around 4,000 patients. We were rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) when we were last inspected.
Christiana Hartley Medical Practice is located on Curzon Road in central Southport and we had over 6,200 patients prior to joining with Roe Lane. Dr Adele Farrell has been at Christiana Hartley since August 2010 and has been our senior GP partner since July 2017. We have an ‘outstanding’ rating from the CQC and we work hard to maintain this.
Our mission statement, “To enhance the health and wellbeing of our patients, by providing high quality, individualised and accessible care, in a safe, responsive and courteous manner”, sums up our aims.
About NHS Southport and Formby CCG
NHS Southport and Formby Clinical CCG is made up of 19 GP practices and covers a population of around 125,500 patients. We are responsible for planning and buying nearly all the healthcare services that our residents need from a range of providers. Working with NHS England, we have responsibility for managing primary care services in the area.
We are committed to making decisions in a fair and open way, to ensure we spend our money as wisely as possible to meet the healthcare needs of our residents. Our aim, working together with our partners, is to offer local people a wide range of accessible, high quality and easy to use services to help them stay healthy and improve their wellbeing.
